Hera (or the Roman version - Juno) was the queen of the gods and is most commonly associated with marriage - which is ironic considering she was married to Zeus. She is also associated with a jealous nature and vengeance (poor Heracles) though she could be generous if the mood was on her. The month of June may have been named after her. |
